Facilitators Mark Tyrpin is president and CEO of Mercantile Bank in Quincy, Illinois. His unique style of “Banker Teaching Bankers” emphasizes current banking examples and scenarios to supplement the classroom approach to learning. He has over 30 years of banking experience including commercial lending, commercial real estate lending, loan rehabilitation and workout as well as management.
Mike Wear is the owner of 39 Acres Corporation and a senior analyst for the credit risk administration department of First National Bank of Omaha, specializing in underwriting commercial real estate loans. He serves as a member of the faculty at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, as well as GSB’s Sales & Marketing School and IT Management School.
