Advanced Commercial Document Preparation*

Tuesday, August 11 - This is an intermediate-level course that focuses on how to use LaserPro’s Commercial Doc Prep workflow for complex loans. The course is taught at an advanced level with the expectation that participants already have experience with the basic workflow and navigation of the commercial module. This is a hands-on course designed to teach someone how to navigate through complex commercial loan transactions. Each participant will be completing hands-on work on a computer during the class.  

Main Objectives

• Learn to create nested entity borrowers on the Customer Summary Window - *Nested entities are when a company is the signer for another company 
• Learn to document complex payment structures 
• Learn to document multiple collateral in a transaction 
• Learn to override LaserPro’s generic language and/or add your own additional language in the documents with Additional Provisions, Exhibits, and LawyerPro

Agenda

• Complete the workflow to generate and review a Commercial closing package for a UCC and Real Estate secured loan
• Create an Additional Provision and Exhibit

Advanced Consumer Real Estate*

Wednesday, August 12 - This is an intermediate-level course that focuses on how to document fee changes and tolerance cures for loans subject to the TRID Regulation. This functionality will be demonstrated while documenting a construction loan. The course is taught at an advanced level with the expectation that participants already have experience with the basic workflow and navigation of a TRID loan. This is a hands-on course. Each participant will be completing hands-on work on a computer.

Main Objectives

• Learn how to document fee changes and tolerance cures on TRID loans
• Learn how to document construction loans in LaserPro

Agenda

• Complete the Processing workflow to generate and review a Loan Estimate and early disclosure package for a construction loan
• Properly document fee changes, tolerance cures, and redisclosure of Loan Estimate
• Complete the Doc Prep workflow to generate and review a Closing Disclosure and closing document package for a construction loan

Advanced Administration*

Thursday, August 13 - This is an intermediate-level course that focuses on Policies and Templates. The course is taught at an advanced level with the expectation that participants already have experience with the admin functionality of the LaserPro software. This is a hands-on course designed to teach someone how to create and maintain policies and templates. Each participant will be completing hands-on work on a computer during the class.

Main Objectives

• Understand the functionality and role of Policies and Templates
• Learn to create and maintain Policies and Templates

Agenda

• Discussion/overview of policies and the role they play in transactions
• Create a policy from scratch discussing all the details of each policy component
• Discussion/overview of templates and the role they play in transactions
• Create a template from scratch discussing all the details of the template workflow

*NOTE: Each participant will complete hands-on work on a computer during the class. This is not a compliance seminar. The trainer cannot render compliance advice or legal counsel advice.
